Amann RASANT 35/50/75/120 threads

Rasant is a spun polyester / cotton core. Like staple fibers, the core staple fibers have a smooth and textile surface. Thanks to the combination of a continuous fiber core and a spun cover, the spun fibers are extremely powerful. Core fibers show excellent sewing ability, which ensures trouble-free processing, even in difficult applications such as multi-directional sewing operations and buttonholes in thin fabrics. Therefore, spun fiber cores are suitable for a huge range of applications.

Rasant is a traditional AMANN classic with a cotton part. The sewing and embroidery thread is very robust, approved in many applications and is perfect for fastening and seams.

On request, the Rasant is available with a WR water-repellent finish. Rasant is additionally certified according to 94.0.8268, STANDARD 100 from OEKO-TEX®.

Rasant is mainly used in the clothing industry. In this sector, it is used as a sewing thread for women's and men's clothing, for sports and outdoor clothing and for underwear and lingerie. Rasant is also used as a sewing thread for denim and workwear. Last but not least, Rasant is used as an embroidery thread for matte embroidery, but also for technical textiles.

Specifications for the use of specific species:
- RASANT 35: Recommended needle strength is 110-130, winding 3000 m, color chart: 52 colors.
- RASANT 50: Recommended needle strength is 100-110, winding 1000/5000/10000 m, ink: 52 colors.
- RASANT 75: Recommended needle strength is 90-100, spool 1000/5000 m, ink: 140 colors.
- RASANT 120: Recommended needle strength is 70-80, winding 1000/5000 m, ink: 300 colors.
