Amann SYNTON 10/15/20/30/40/60/80 threads

Amann SYNTON threads are polyester industrial sewing threads made in the Czech Republic. They are mainly used for bags, suitcases, belts and leather goods, shoes. Their other use is sewing clothes, embroidery and products from technical textiles.

SYNTON threads excel in high strength and uniformity. They have high color fastness and are resistant to abrasion and moisture, resistant to mold, bacteria and all kinds of commonly used chemicals and solvents. The perfect special sewing treatment of these threads ensures trouble-free sewing even in demanding conditions at higher speeds. The threads do not tend to loop and do not twist when cut.

Specifications for the use of specific species:
- SYNTON 80: multi-needle stitching, bottom seams, fine materials, work clothes, technical use. The recommended needle strength is 70-90, winding 2400 m.
- SYNTON 60: footwear industry, leather goods, sportswear, work gloves, canvas stitching, upholstery, quilting, production of zippers, toys. The recommended needle strength is 80-100, winding 1800 m.
- SYNTON 40: the most used thread for the footwear industry, used for leather goods, sports equipment, backpacks, travel cables, upholstered furniture, tents and car accessories. The recommended needle strength is 90-120, winding 1200 m.

The smaller the number, the thicker the threads.

Threads with thickness 60 are usually the thickest threads that home sewing machines sew well with.
