Patterned cotton
We offer quality cotton with various patterns.
We also offer cotton made in the Czech Republic or foreign USA cotton.
Difference in cotton types:
Poly-Cotton canvas is a thicker cotton with an admixture of polyester. It is used as a decorative fabric for home accessories, bags and handbags.
SOFT cotton is high-quality, thicker and pleasantly soft to the touch. We use them, for example, for a bed sheet on a massage table. They are also perfect for various bags, handbags, tablecloths, etc.
USA cottons are especially popular when sewing patchwork, as they do not shrink or let go of colours (or much less than classic cotton).
How is canvas sewn?
Cotton is a natural material that shrinks (usually 5-10%). Therefore, it is necessary to wash the canvases before sewing, so that the finished product does not shrink.
For sewing, you will need a UNIVERSAL NEEDLE and classic 120 STRENGTH POLYESTER THREAD.
